Hello my name is Richard and I am a fully qualified DVSA Approved Advanced Driving Instructor (ADI).

All DVSA Driving Instructors are DBS checked and at my latest Standards Check completed by a DVSA Supervising Examiner I was awarded the top grade ‘A’.

I have been offering high quality driving lessons in New Malden and the surrounding areas since 2007, from the most nervous of pupils who are completely new to the concept of driving, to pupils who have already passed their driving test and just require a refresher course to get them on the road again.

I am a very calm, patient, knowledgeable Driving Instructor who will offer you a pleasant and relaxed driving atmosphere whatever your driving ability, whilst teaching you how to drive correctly and most of all safely. I can also help and advise you on how to study for the Theory Test.

Rich’s Driving School is registered with the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) to teach driving lessons as part of the ‘Pass Plus’ course to newly qualified drivers.

My experience as a Driving Instructor will ensure that you only take your driving test when you are completely ready for it, after all ‘your success is my success!’.

Unfortunately DVSA figures show most pupils around the country fail their first attempt at a driving test, which in my opinion is the result of pupils rushing into taking it and not being fully prepared. They usually have gone against the advice of their driving instructor and have not had the DVSA’s minimum recommended amount of lessons before applying for the test (45hrs of driving school tuition along with 22hrs of private practice). Most fails are a cause of a lack of driving experience come test day!.

I am proud to say Rich’s Driving School has an excellent first time pass rate and I will work with you to achieve your driving license first time as long as you are willing to put in the time to study & practice!.

THE DRIVING SCHOOL CAR

ABOUT THE DRIVING LESSONS

I provide a door to door service so you will not have to share your driving lesson with another pupil like some other driving schools offer. Driving lessons are available for complete beginners, partly taught or fully qualified drivers who just require a few refresher driving lessons.
